1. Controller

The controller responsible for processing your personal data is sCHNOw Sàrl, Rue de Locarno 7, 1700 Fribourg, Switzerland, which operates the EXENTRI online shop at www.exentri.ch. Questions about data protection: info@schnow.ch.

2. Scope

This policy explains how we process personal data when you visit www.exentri.ch, place an order, or contact us. We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / revDSG) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. What we collect and why

• Contact and order details (name, address, email, phone): to process and deliver your order and for customer service.
• Payment data: to process your payment. Payments are handled by the payment provider; we do not store full card data.
• Account data: to manage your customer account, if you create one.
• Usage and device data (IP address, browser, pages viewed): to operate, secure and improve the shop, and for analytics.
• Marketing data (email address, preferences): to send newsletters and offers where you have consented.

4. Legal basis

We process data to perform the contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, on the basis of your consent (for example for marketing and non-essential cookies), and for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the shop.

5. Service providers (processors)

We share data with providers who process it on our behalf, under contract and only as needed:

• Shopify – e-commerce platform and hosting
• Payment providers (the TWINT, card and PayPal processors shown at checkout) – payment processing
• Shipping and logistics partners – delivery
• Klaviyo – email marketing and communications
• Google (Analytics, Ads, Search Console) – website analytics and advertising, see section 7

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside Switzerland, for example in the EU or the United States. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, to protect your data.

7. Analytics and advertising (Google)

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads, services provided by Google. Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use our website – for example which pages are viewed, the type of device, approximate location and purchases. Google Ads lets us measure how our adverts perform and show adverts on Google and partner websites, including to people who have visited our shop before (remarketing).

These services use cookies and similar technologies. Where you are signed in to your Google account and have allowed personalised ads, Google may link your activity across devices and provide us with aggregated reports on age, gender and interests. These reports do not identify you personally. Google may process data in the United States. We keep analytics data for up to 14 months.

You can manage or switch off personalised ads at myadcenter.google.com and block Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) you may also object to this processing at any time by writing to info@schnow.ch.

8. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, accounting records are retained for ten years under Swiss law).

9. Your rights

Under the FADP you have the right to information about the data we hold about you, and to have inaccurate data corrected or deleted, subject to legal limits. You can withdraw your consent at any time and unsubscribe from our emails via the link in every email. To exercise these rights, contact info@schnow.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

10. Cookies

We use necessary cookies to run the shop and, where required with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; where a cookie banner is shown, you can also manage your choices there.
